Waste Diversion for Construction and Demolition Projects

The chart below represents the typical composition of Construction and Demolition (C & D) waste according to Stats Canada. A large portion of the items found in construction and demolition waste is recyclable and can be diverted from our landfills. LEED Tracking and Reporting

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System® is a certification program that encourages environmentally responsible construction and renovation.To determine how environmentally sound a construction project is, this certification program comes with a rating system used to grade builders. The LEED Green Building Rating System has waste removal, recycling and environmental impact criteria that we can help with. Our 'in-house' Cleaview tracking system provides waste breakdown and diversion statistics to maintain your LEED building status and rating. Here is an example of LEED reporting:
